Is there any information about hobs who have had the implant then bred? My Bo is so lonely, it seems he has been in season all but two months in the last year and so he can't be in with any of his friends (all ladies or his kits). I'm not sure if I want to have another litter but I want to leave that option open. Thanks for adding me to the forum!

I don't have any info on that personally but maybe some others do. It seems to keep the hobs out of rut for at least a year or two but i have read where the implant can be taken out if needed. I've had a jill have an implant and come back into heat at less than a year. It does state the implant works better for the hobs than the jills but she is the only one so far. Keep in mind a hob that has reached maturity and gone through a rut needs time once implanted for him to adapt to being non aggressive as it seems it is a learned behavior too.
