I was looking at my notes and have two hobs that are still out of rut almost two years after getting an implant. We will see what happens this spring, if they come back in or not. The one boy is older at 7 so I may just implant him again for his sake as I don't want an older kid going through weird hormone changes. The other boy is 5 years old. The jills I have implanted are going on a year so far. There again we will see what happens this spring, normal breeding season. Thoughts on this also shows the implant seems to be effective at least a year no matter what you are using it for, ie. adrenal or spay/neuter or as a preventative.
